Proof of Trust and Reliability
Good Delivery Referee
TANAKA is setting the global standard for precious metals.
TANAKA is the only accredited certification body in Japan that evaluates accredited precious metal refiners to guarantee the purity of precious metals circulating worldwide.

Becoming a Certifying Body is a testament to our world-class technology.
TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. was appointed as a “Certified Assayer” (Good Delivery Referee) for gold and silver by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) in December 2003. LBMA is the most authoritative organization in the gold and silver markets worldwide.
TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES has developed high-purity (Au999.9) gold and high-quality metal processing technology over many years to supply high-quality precious metal materials and components in the electronic and electrical industries. As a result, TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES has been recognized for its high standards in creating accurate standard alloy samples for the screening of accredited precious metal refiners and for testing and evaluating its own and other accredited precious metal refiners' samples with extremely high analytical precision.
There are only seven accredited precious metal refiner screening companies in the world, including TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES, and their roles are: ① to reevaluate the melting technology and analytical capabilities of accredited precious metal refiners for gold and silver, and ② to screen new accredited precious metal refiners.
Being appointed as an accredited precious metal refiner screening company means that TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES's melting technology and analytical capabilities have been recognized worldwide.
Three Certifications of a Registered Certification Body

- A mark of excellence used to evaluate producers worldwide.
- A mark of responsibility that guarantees the quality of gold and silver worldwide.
- One of seven companies in the world and one in Japan that are “Certificates of Trust”

Manufacturing gold and silver standard samples for emission spectrometry

TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES has been commissioned to manufacture the world's first global standard gold analysis sample for the precious metals industry project formed by major precious metals-related companies worldwide under the leadership of the LBMA, and has successfully done so. This successful standard sample manufacturing is attributed to TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES's technology for producing homogeneous alloys and its technology for accurately alloying a diverse range of elements. Based on this achievement, the company has also been commissioned to manufacture silver standard samples, and has successfully done so. The LBMA has been selling gold standard samples worldwide since 2009 and silver standard samples since 2020.

Central Role as an LPPM-Accredited Assayer
In April 2009, we were appointed as an "Accredited Assayer" of the "London Platinum & Palladium Market" (LPPM: London Platinum & Palladium Market) and have since continued to refine our melting technology and analytical capabilities. There are currently six assayers accredited by LPPM, and we are the only one in Japan.

In June 2009, LPPM published its Good Delivery Rules on its website and began a re-evaluation system for platinum and palladium. The mission of TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES, a TPPM-accredited evaluation company, has become even more significant.
Platinum and palladium, more so than gold and silver, are important materials in the automotive, electrical, electronic, and other industries beyond asset trading. It goes without saying that TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES, which has advanced technology and extensive experience in both analytical technology and the processing of industrial precious metals, is expected to play an active role in LPPM.
TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES has always considered its activities within the LPPM to be one of the core areas of expertise it has developed over many years and wishes to contribute to the world.

Responsible Minerals Sourcing
Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy
TANAKA promotes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
As part of this, we will promote Responsible Minerals Sourcing that takes into consideration human rights, the environment, and ethics in the procurement of raw materials.
Challenging the World Standard
Acquisition of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES has been accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for its analytical techniques for platinum, gold, silver, and palladium, which are precious metals with particularly high volumes of handling.
