The GX League has designated TANAKA PRECIOUS METAL TECHNOLOGIES Co., Ltd. as a Gold Grade GX Leading Company, recognizing its proactive efforts in advancing Green Transformation (GX) and contributing to a sustainable future.

The GX League is a forum for companies that are taking on the challenge of GX and aiming to achieve sustainable growth in the current and future society, with an eye on achieving carbon neutrality and social change by 2050. It facilitates collaboration among similar companies, the government, and academia.

Central to the initiative is the GX Leading Execution Declaration, a framework that enables companies to proactively define and publicly disclose their GX strategies. By increasing the visibility of businesses committed to implementing GX-related products and services, the system aims to foster a market in which such initiatives are appropriately valued and encouraged.

TANAKA has demonstrated its commitment by procuring low-carbon hydrogen through the introduction of hydrogen-based fuel cell power generation equipment—a pivotal energy source for the realization of GX—at its Shonan Plant. This initiative significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during manufacturing processes. In recognition of these tangible efforts, the company has been awarded the prestigious Gold Grade status.
