Platinum Clad Wire

What is "Platinum Clad Wire"?
This composite wire uses platinum as the outer layer and a cost-effective metal as the core material. It reduces material costs while maintaining the excellent corrosion resistance and electrical properties of platinum. It is used in applications requiring high reliability, such as sensors, switches, and medical equipment.
Our platinum clad wires take full advantage of the characteristics of platinum, such as tensile strength, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, etc.
Molybdenum, highly resistant to heat, and iron-nickel alloy and other materials are used for lead material for electronic devices and coated with platinum to produce clad wires, enabling full use of the performance of each material.
