Circular Economy
Since its founding, TANAKA 's industrial business has continued to support manufacturing around the world.
We will continue to contribute to environmental issues, energy measures, and environmental pollution countermeasures through research and development of materials centered on precious metals and stable supplies.
We will proactively take on new challenges and contribute to the realization of a comfortable and prosperous society and the future of our beautiful planet.
RE Series
100% Earth-friendly, in every form.
The "RE Series" products newly developed by TANAKA to reduce the environmental impact and achieve sustainable and efficient use by suppressing the need for new precious metal mining. The most notable feature of the RE Series is that it is a recycled precious metal material that has been refined using only "100%" precious metal recycled materials, employing the advanced recycling and precious metal analysis technologies that TANAKA has developed over many years.
In recent years, there has been a growing demand worldwide for responses to SDGs, ESG, and carbon neutrality.
The RE Series only recovers and refines recycled materials with reliable origins, and it also contributes to green procurement as recommended by the Ministry of the Environment (which involves the preferential procurement of products and services with minimal environmental impact and from companies that actively engage in environmental considerations, etc.).
As of November 2022, the RE Series is only available for gold (Au) products, but there are plans to expand to platinum (Pt) and other platinum group (PGM) products in the future.
TANAKA will contribute to the formation of a Circular Economy by supplying products using the RE Series.

Message behind the logo

We have created a logo mark that represents the image of our 100% recycled precious metal material "RE Series."
The concept of the mark is "infinitely woven."
The motif ∞ (infinity) is used as a symbol of circulation, infinity, and continuity, and the meaning of "weaving" is "combining various things to create something new."
This is the spirit of the "RE Series," which is to "create."
The color scheme is based on gold and gray, reminiscent of precious metals, combined with the company's corporate color, navy blue.
It clearly expresses that this is a sustainable precious metal material that contributes to the realization of Circular Economy.
Aiming for 100% recycling of precious metals. How does TANAKA utilize urban mines?

TANAKA's history of entering the industrial sector, as well as its high analytical and recycling technologies that support the RE series, are explained in an article by Noraki Hara, General Manager of the Development and Sales Department, on the business news website
